‘Paulus’ homage to Victoria Wood is practically a national institution’ Kate Copstick
Since 2020, Paulus has focused his energy on a musical tribute to the late, great Victoria Wood, entitled LOOKING FOR ME FRIEND. Accompanied by Michael Roulston of Fascinating Aida, the pair have performed at countless venues up and down the country, including Sold Out performances at HOME, Manchester; Sheffield Playhouse, Northern Stage, New Wolsey Theatre and Chichester Festival Theatre.
Approved by Victoria’s brother, childhood chums and members of her famous repertory company – the show is poignant, heartful, fun and nostalgic – a guaranteed feel good show for all. Profits from the show have also been donated to the Victoria Wood Foundation.
The show is written and performed by star of BBC1’s ‘All Together Now’, Paulus The Cabaret Geek with Michael Roulston (Fascinating Aïda) on piano and is directed by the multi-award-winning Sarah-Louise Young (An Evening Without Kate Bush).

About Paulus
Since 2020, Paulus has been focusing his energies on Looking for Me friend, a musical tribute to the late, great Victoria Wood. Before this, you might have caught Paulus on your TV screens in ‘All Together Now’ and ‘All Together Now Celebrities’ alongside Spice Girl Geri Horner and comedian Rob Beckett, as well as making television programmes with Mary Portas for Channel 4 and appearing as a talent show judge on Sky Living alongside the casting director Mark Summers.
He is in demand worldwide as both an entertainer and educator, ever since his performances in Paris, Berlin, Melbourne and New York in the early Noughties, and has graced TV screens as a mentor to pensioners, singing judge, lookalike/weight-loss adjudicator, and a badminton player with no shuttlecock.
